WHY EMMA OLIVER IS NEEDED NOW

According to new data from a global satellite survey in 2017 the world lost more than one football pitch of forest every second. Planting trees has also been named as one of the top five things to mitigate climate change. We know that the trees in the Amazon are burning. But it’s all at such a vast scale that it’s hard to relate to personally. Emma Oliver and the Song of Creation tells the story of a family facing these issues in their community of  Peachtree City, Georgia.

Our musical has three main themes:

Saving trees

Finding Your Voice

Family Healing

The musical’s message can initiate the complex dialogue we are all undergoing around these issues.

We believe art can change the world.

Our children and forests need us

to find our voices

and help re-forest the Earth.
